Tampa Bay Inno: Schooling the Competition

I love seeing young students get involved in the entrepreneur world, and the latest high school students to win a pitch competition could be ones to watch in the future.

Three Palm Harbor University high school students won the Next Generation Technology pitch competition last night. It’s an initiative through the Pinellas Education Foundation, that teamed up with local startup Lunchpool to move online due to coronavirus.

The team won for its ClimaTrek idea, a Bluetooth atmosphere monitoring device that can read temperature, UV rays and send info via Bluetooth to your cell phone.
