Stavros Institute

Named after Pinellas Education Foundation Chairman Emeritus, Gus. A. Stavros, the Institute was founded to provide practical learning experience to the students and community of Pinellas County. There's Enterprise Village, an interactive marketplace for fifth-graders with hands-on lessons; Finance Park for eighth-graders who make monetary decisions based on a personal profile; and Career Cove for high school students focusing on careers and ethics - all an integral part of the real-life learning experiences taking place at the Stavros Institute.

Finance Park for Pinellas County's eighth grade students is a tough, real-life lesson for fourteen-year-olds when they realize that an expensive car purchase doesn't leave them much money for life's necessities such as food, shelter and medical expenses.

Learning to write checks and pay bills are just part of the real-life learning experiences of Enterprise Village.
