Thank you for your interest in nominating a student for a Doorways Scholarship. In our efforts throughout the years, it has been requested many times that the community be more involved in the selection of the Doorways students.  Therefore, with the advent of this online application, anyone can now nominate a student, opening the possibility of a college scholarship to students and families who may not have applied before. 

It is important to note that Doorways Scholarships are awarded to deserving Pinellas County public school students in grades sixth through eleventh with demonstrated financial need (students must be on the school's approved free/reduced lunch list).  Students are expected to maintain good grades, behavior and attendance, and stay drug and crime free.  Parents must agree to support the educational goals of the student and maintain good communication with the school, among other expectations.
