Jake Bray

My name is Jake Bray. I started to play violin when I was five years old and took up viola lessons nine years later. I am currently a senior in the Center for Advanced Technologies program at Lakewood High School, and I plan on attending the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University in the fall. While there is no orchestra program at my high school, I play outside of school in the Pinellas Youth Symphony in Clearwater and the Patel Conservatory Youth Orchestra in Tampa. I play in two full orchestras, two string quartets, and a strings chamber orchestra. I am excited to be a finalist in the Walker’s Rising Stars this year and I look forward to performing with the other talented finalists.
