Outstanding Educators
This awards banquet, attended by educators and business leaders, recognizes outstanding educators who have been nominated at their schools and named as finalists as Pinellas County Outstanding Educators. Finalists compete in five categories, which include: Creativity & Innovation, Commitment to Children & Families, Ambassador of the Profession, Commitment to Improvement of the Profession, and Inspiring Students to Performance at Higher Levels, will be recognized. One of the finalists will be selected as Pinellas County’s Teacher of the Year and will go on to represent the county by competing for the title of Florida Teacher of the Year. During this celebration, we also recognize the Superintendent’s Unsung Hero recipient.
The 2008-2009 Outstanding Educator Awards Show will feature a gala reception for Outstanding Educators and a spectacular awards show. Reserve your seats now and be apart of this spectacular event!
