Teach For Excellence

Teach for Excellence Classroom Grant Program and other grant programs sponsored by the Pinellas Education Foundation awards more than $230,000 to more than 225 Pinellas County public school teachers to fund classroom projects to promote student achievement. These annual grants encourage teachers to develop creative classroom projects that engage and excite children and have a direct impact on students achievement. Pinellas County Public Schools classroom teachers are eligible to apply for the grants over the summer. The applications are reviewed and scored by business leaders, educators and community representatives.

The grants are awarded to the winning teachers at the Teach for Excellence Awards Reception.
